Credit points
Participation in lectures/courses and seminars will be monitored with a credit point (CP) system. You are requested to report your participation to the office of the school.
Each student should:
- Attend (at least) one general course (4 CPs)
- Attend (at least) two specialized courses (2x 3 CPs)
- Participate in (at least) one summer / winter school with a lecture program (2 CPs)
- give (at least) one seminar talk (2 CPs)
which yields the required minimum of 14 CPs
Thesis advisory committees (TAC)
Each student is assigned 3 members (the direct supervisor, an independent faculty member from an institution other than the direct supervisor, the coordinator) as advisors. The student work will be evaluated after 9 months and after about 2 years following the admission, to access potential difficulties and to ensure the smooth progress of the thesis, respectively. It is with such an evaluation that the organizers of the school will be aware of the general overview of the progress of the thesis work of each student.
